Course Package: Skillsoft Basic PMP Exam Prep
This
course package is normally taken as a starting point in a Project
Management training program and provides a structure for understanding the
topic.
We recommend that you take this course either to get an idea
about what Project Management (according to PMI) is all about or as a starting point for your
PMP Certification plan.
The
package defines key terms and provides an overview for the
PMBOK® Guide. Several courses inside this package describe the
environment in which projects operate and help you understand the
broader context. The course broadly
specifies the processes that are used by a typical PMP to manage a project. It describes the five required Project
Management Process Groups for any project and their constituent Project
Management Processes and describes the multi-dimensional nature
of project management. This course covers the first 3 (overview)
chapters of the PMBOK Guide and is not sufficient for taking the PMP
Exam, however it builds a solid foundation for a more advanced PMP study
plan.
